The building used for holiday letting was the original coach house and is set within the peaceful grounds of Millmead on the banks of the Axe Estuary in fifty five acres of , woods, fields and gardens.
The Coach House has only just been converted into habitable building space and occupies a secluded position with views over Axmouth, The Axe Estuary and the countryside beyond. The conversion has been designed to optimise these views from the first floor and offer a generous amount of living space that opens out onto an enclosed rear courtyard and some gardens behind which are exclusively for guests. The accommodation offers a reception hall, master bedroom with en suite shower room, two twin bedrooms and a well appointed bathroom on the ground floor. An oak stair case rises to the first floor were there is a cloakroom, study and the main living space which comprises of a sitting and recreation area and a large farmhouse kitchen and dining area.
The owners have finished the property to an exceptionally high standard and will offer guests a great deal of comfort during their stay. Axmouth has two very good pubs : The Harbour and The Ship, both are within walking distance and offer a high quality dining experience. Axe Cliff Golf Course is within walking distance, Seaton is across the river a short distance away and offers everything you will require for your day to day needs including a large Tesco store. The Estuary is a delight to explore and attracts a lot of birds who feed on the mudflats between tides. There is a well managed nature reserve the other side of the river with a number of hides and walks and is well worth a visit.
