The Valencian Country region

Playa de Gandia is a wonderful beach resort that has a backdrop of mountains and beautiful clean beaches to enjoy. There's plenty of restaurants, bars and shops for those times away from the sand and sea. This is a predominantly Spanish resort and there's not an "all day English breakfast" in sight. For those that want to be immersed in Spanish culture when in Spain, this is the place for you.

The main town of Gandia is 4km away has a mixture of commerce and history. Home of the Borja dynasty there's a story on every street corner. Modern day Gandia has superstores and shopping malls for those who need a little retail therapy.

Valencia is an hour by train. A vibrant and friendly city steeped in history and a more cosmopolitan experience, with a primera liga football team to support, plenty of entertainment, shopping and traditional paella, you will need a few days relaxing by the beach to re-charge your batteries.
