Forming part of a small block of 3 townhouse apartments the layout of this stunning duplex apartment is on two floors and it is internally connected by a staircase. The ground floor layout consists of a large double bedroom with an additional single sofa bed which is ideal for parents with a young child. The bathroom has a separate shower and floor level Jacuzzi.
The upper floor includes an open plan layout, including a fully equipped modern kitchen with breakfast table, a dining area and split level living area which leads onto a beautiful 54sq metre private rooftop decked terrace. The terrace is part in the sun and part covered by a canopy, two sun loungers are provided. Here you can also enjoy open country and town views, relax on the large sofa and dine al fresco.
All rooms have ceiling fans and windows are fitted with ventilation/insect screens. Guests can make use of a small library of books, DVDs and games available from the common area.
What is included in the standard rental?
Arrival day maid service and a starter pack including 2 litres of mineral water, tea, coffee and sugar. In addition washing liquid, shower gel and hand wash is also provided.
The rental rates includes bed linen and towels. All services such as water, electricity, gas, internet and cable TV are also included.
A complimentary airport pick up on your arrival day is included and you will receive apartment keys either at the airport or when you get to the apartment. The departure transfer is not included, however this can be arranged for you locally at a supplement charge.
For short stays of less than 7 nights a supplement may apply which is paid locally. This will depend on the season and you will be advised if a supplement is applicable at the time of your enquiry.

Located in the south of Malta, Birzebbuga is a charming southern coastal town, away from the hustle and bustle of the busy northern resorts. This town is simple in character, providing an opportunity to experience local lifestyles. The piazza (centre of town), is just a few minutes from your accommodation and here you will find typical shops, traditional bakeries, an open air market and the friendly locals doing ordinary everyday activities, like shopping for their families, going to work, chatting in the streets..
The 3km sea front provides for a pleasant walk or swim at one of two bays. The charming St. Georges Bay is peppered with colourful fishing boats and has a small beach. The larger Pretty Bay beach with the imposing freeport in the distance makes an interesting but also relaxing spot to soak up the rays of the sun as the occasional ship delivers its wares to the islands. A sea route established thousands of years ago, evidence of the rich history this area has.
The town of Birzebbuga is located approx. 2km from the islands main fishing village of Marsaxlokk. You can either walk along the coastline or travel by bus between them. Marsaxlokk fishing village does get very busy at certain times of the day due to the local market and many restaurants, however Birzebbuga remains calm and peaceful and is not invaded by day trippers.
The Birzebbuga seafront, harbour and sandy beaches are within walking distance, only 400 metres from the property.

SHOPS, BARS & RESTAURANTS
The main shopping activity is concentrated around the piazza (centre of town) which is only 400 metres from the property. Here you will find an abundance of shops including mini markets, greengrocer, butcher and other outlets. Every Thursday morning there is a local market.
Restaurants are also in abundance, these range from small taverna type outlets to large restaurants and between them they offer all types of cuisine including both local, Mediterranean, Chinese and also cheap take-aways and fast food outlets. You can find a good choice of bars along the seafront, however if you want to mix and mingle with the locals the place to go is the 'Palazz San Pietru' in the piazza (centre of town). This is the local band club (a type of social club) which has a very popular bar. Prices a very reasonable and they also serve free nibbles with your drinks on certain days.
There are two banks in the town, chemists, doctors clinics, hairdressers a post office and other types of shops.
GETTING OUT & ABOUT
There is a regular bus service from Birzebbuga to the Airport, Valletta and Marsa. These are the three main bus stations from where you can link to other parts of the island.
If you intend hiring a car or scooter there are plenty of parking sport in the streets around the property area.
