Francavilla al mare is the northest town in the province of Chieti.
at 30 minutes by car is one of highest mountains of Appennini: Majella mountain complex. you go by car over 2000mt altitude, can walk over inside an extraordinary panorama.
on south, 30km along the coast is the D'annunzio coast, among San Vito and Fossacesia, with high ropes and the Trabocchi (old manifactured wood buildings for fishing, now restaurants over the sea ) bike road, you can reach them by bike road, too.
