The apartment in the fourth floor of a recently restored old house offers a relaxing view over the wide river Tagus and the roofs of Alfama, the most typical and historic neighbourhood of Lisbon. You will not wish to disconnect yourself from this wonderful view.
The rooms are very cosy and the apartment is very quiet, although you can find much entertainment on the doorstep, such as Fado (UNESCO Immaterial Cultural Heritage) bars, good restaurants and traditional shops.
At a few minutes walking distance, you can reach many cultural and historical attractions, such as the Museum of Fado, Panteão and Sé (the Lisbon Cathedral). You can also walk to São Jorge Castle, which has amazing views, or to the downtown.
Taxis, buses, trams and the subway are in the immediate vicinity, Santa Apolónia, just 5 minutes walking distance.
Walking through the narrow streets, the alleys and stairways of this vibrant medieval neighbourhood, with many Arabic influences, you will often feel that time has stopped and transported you to a small village from the time when everyone knew everyone.
Don't forget to stop in the sights and enjoy!
