Villa Sapphire is a tropical-style and exotic open-plan One Bedroom Villa located on hillside land with amazing panoramic ocean views of the Gulf of Thailand and surrounding islands. A romantic and exotic setting, ideally suited for couples. It is also very popular for honeymoons.
This lovely villa is one of three villas, set on a magnificent parcel of land, covered in granite boulders and swaying coconut trees.
Villa Sapphire is situated on the 22 acre area of ocean view hillside land known as Sitara Retreat, which provides 24 hour security. The villa boasts an infinity edged private salt water pool and tropical-style open plan living area with Jacuzzi. Sitara is an exclusive private residency, surrounded by nature, with amazing rock formation and outstanding natural beauty.
The villa is in the unspoiled south of the island which largely remains unaffected by over-development that unfortunately blights the north.
From the private car parking area, the impressive entrance is positioned between two ancient boulders inviting you into the unique open tropical-style living area that sits in complete harmony with nature. Positioned in the centre of the living room is a Jacuzzi where you can relax and enjoy the magnificent views of the shimmering turquoise ocean or just relax and wile away your time, whilst watching a movie under the stars on the projector screen.
Set against a magnificent granite rock, is a barbecue area with open kitchen, where you can cook freshly caught fish or meat from the local market and enjoy a romantic dinner with the backdrop of the twinkling lights of the fishing boats out at sea.
Leading from the living area, there is a small lotus pond containing colourful tropical fish, through to the infinity edged private salt water swimming pool complete with sun deck. Also within this area is a guest WC.
The upper floor consists of a luxury bedroom with beautiful tropical hardwood high vaulted ceiling, complete with en-suite bath tub, shower, double vanity unit and WC. This has been created with the classic look of Terrazzo. The bedroom has a king sized bed, fitted wardrobes, dressing table, air conditioning, ceiling fan and leads out to its balcony with fabulous far-reaching views of the lush green tropical setting and turquoise ocean.Satellite TV and DVD movies can be enjoyed on the large projector screen set against one of the granite boulders within the tropical living area. Satellite tv has the top package, including showing football from the champions league. Smoking is only allowed outside the villa.

Rising from the crystal waters of the Gulf of Siam, Koh Samui is a tropical paradise just off Thailand's South Eastern coast. The island's mountainous interior is coated in a tropical jungle with rugged trails that offer spectacular views. The whole island is surrounded by beautiful white sandy beaches and azure water.Samui is Thailand's third largest island at 247 square kilometers. And it's part of an archipelago of many other islands, including Koh Phangan, Koh Tao, and the Ang thong National Marine Park. Samui is renowned for its tropical beaches, coconut palms, a wonderful variety of spa facilities, exotic nightlife and friendly people. The island also has an amazing choice of restaurants, offering local and international cuisine that would be hard to match anywhere in the world. Samui seems to cast its magic spell on everyone who encounters it.The island's 50 km ring road offers tantalizing glimpses of Samui's gorgeous beaches, it takes you through sleepy fishing villages and seas of coconut palms. It also passes Samui's most impressive waterfalls and provides tempting turn-offs in the highlands. Yet most visitors are content to laze the days away on the beaches, soaking up the sun and cooling off in the turquoise waters.Samui may have a relaxed, laid back atmosphere, but the jungles and beaches offer every activity imaginable. The island has an exhilerating array of water sports such as snorkelling, scuba diving, sea canoeing, kite boarding and fishing. There's also mountain biking, horse-riding, elephant trekking through the jungle, tennis and even bungee jumping available for those seeking energetic entertainment. And an excellent golf course is available for a more gentle form of exercise.Sunny skies and calm seas prevail for most of the year. The southern part of the island, where Villa Sapphire is located, remains largely unspoiled, compared to the north of the island. The villa offers a tranquil setting for nature lovers to feel at home, situated amidst a tropical paradise with amazing granite boulders.Regular connections from Samui airport give easy access to the rest of the world. Direct connections to Phuket, Pattaya, Bangkok, Singapore, Hong Kong and Kuala Lumpur already exist with more destinations planned for the future.
Villa Sapphire is located at Sitara Retreat which is situated close to the southern tip of the island. Nearby to the villa many of the island's main attractions are only a short drive away, which include Lamai beach, Butterfly Garden, Waterfalls, Aquarium, Elephant trekking, Grandmother, Grandfather Rocks, horse riding, kayaking, Thai cookery courses, amongst others. There are many fine and varied restaurants serving Thai and Western dishes, all within 5-10 minutes drive from the villa. The southern part of the island still has that rustic charm appeal that the whole of Samui boasted years ago. The beaches on the south remain undeveloped, due mainly to the shallow coastline. If you like to explore you can still find areas where you have the beach to yourself, and never too far away you will find a Thai restaurant where you can enjoy true authentic local dishes.Villa Sapphire is a 2-3 min drive, or 15 min walking distance (which is steep in a couple of places) of Laem Sett beach. This is a quiet and secluded beach and here one can admire a beautiful sunset, and see the local fishermen, with their long tailed boats, come into shore. Also located on the beach is the rustic Thai style Cool Bar when you can enjoy good food and a drink whilst soaking up the tranquil atmosphere. Within this charming area of Laem Sett there are several fine restaurants, serving both delicious Thai and European food, a few small, quiet bars, well reputed massage shops, Yoga, taxi services and local Travel Agency. Also close by is ShaSa Resort, Centara Villas and Samui Orchid which opens its doors to non residents and has many facilities to enjoy, including smart restaurants and bars.Five to ten mins away by motorbike or car you have the fishing village of Baan Hua Thanon where fresh fish, fruit and vegetables are sold daily at the local market, together with small local shops, 24-hour Seven Eleven store, doctors surgery and a Chinese Temple, amongst other things. It is a condition of Sitara Retreat that a 4 x 4 vehicle (or moped) is required to drive on the estate. We can assist in the hire of these vehicles at a competitive price. Click the link to our website for details. The roads are also quiet around this area, unlike the busy north of the island. If your intentions are not to hire a vehicle or moped, taxis can pick you up at the entrance of Sitara, which is a 4 or 5 minute walk down the hill.
Situated close to the entrance of Sitara Retreat you will also find a small, local open air shop, serving small goods such as drinks, snacks, small range of toiletries etc. Outside on the rock are a few table and chairs where you can sit and enjoy a drink with the locals, whilst watching the sun go down.
