This charming cottage is located in the pretty village of Ravenstonedale.
The sitting room is comfortably furnished and has an open fireplace. The kitchen/diner has an electric cooker, fridge, microwave, washing machine, toaster, a table and chairs and of course is equipped with crockery, glassware and utensils. Upstairs there is a double bedroom with window seat, a single bedroom and a bathroom with shower.
Outside there is a patio table and chairs. Guests have the use of a shared garden with lawn and views over the countryside. There is private parking at the end of the garden and on-street parking on the village street.
The Lake District and Yorkshire Dales are within easy driving distance, walking is from the doorstep (we are at the foot of the Howgills) and the village offers two pubs with restaurants, golf and tennis. Fishing (lake and river), riding and the famous Settle-Carlisle railways are nearby.
Please note there are beamed ceilings and steps in this cottage and four steps up to the raised shared garden area.
Prices are inclusive of bedlinen, towels, utilities.
Dog welcome. Please note a dog is welcome on condition that they are not allowed upstairs, on the furniture, and especially the beds, nor left unattended in the accommodation. Owners must bring a dog bed for their pet. A charge of £15 per week or part week will be made.

Step back in time, have a day out into the Yorkshire Dales on one of the vintage buses enjoying the scenery and stone built villages. Travel the renowned Settle to Carlisle railway or visit the heritage railways. The world famous Lake District and facinating Yorkshire Dales are within easy driving distance. Visit the houses of Beatrix Potter and William Wordsworth, enjoy Windermere, Ulswater and Conniston Lakes with a cruise round the Lake or a trip on a steam driven train or yacht.
Ravenstonedale, said by Wainwright to probably be the prettiest village in Westmorland. There are 2 pubs within walking distance, a golf course, and tennis courts. River and trout fishing locally as well as horse riding facilities. Bicycles can be hired in Kirkby Stephen and the famous Settle to Carlisle railway is 4 miles away. Relax in this picture postcard village, walk down flower filled lanes, explore the Howgills, take trips into the Dales or Lakes. Many walks can be enjoyed from the village.
