Furnished and equipped to a high standard of comfort and style, you step into the spacious contemporary open plan double height lounge area with attractive beams, kitchen and dining area displaying the spectacular views through large patio windows.
The family bathroom and bedroom 2 are also located from the ground floor. The master bedroom with ensuite is upstairs with views to the lake over the mezzanine balcony.
A large patio to the front of the Cottage allows you to take full advantage of the sun and gives you plenty of space to relax or dine al fresco; a barbeque is also available for your use.
You can relax in the hot tub on the terrace and enjoy the vista.

Woodpecker Cottage is a beautifully located self-catering cottage holiday in Whitechapel, Lancashire, there is something for everyone on offer; you can simply relax and take in the breathtaking views, watching the wildlife or for a day out there's lots to do right on the doorstep or if you would like to venture a little further with easy access to the main roads and the M6 the choices are endless. Located at the bottom of Beacon Fell Country Park, If you like the outdoors, then this is definitely for you; there is walking for all abilities including tramper trails, with wildlife in abundance, walking is a pleasure, whatever the weather. For those who like a break along the way, we are surrounded by beautiful villages with quaint tea shops, traditional pubs which can be planned into your walk to offer a welcome rest and maybe bite to eat. The cottage is equi distant between the towns of Longridge and the market town of Garstang, with lots of small quaint shops, including the odd supermarket, Garstang has a weekly market on the High Street every Thursday. For local fresh produce pay a visit to the Barton Grange Garden Centre where you can browse round their fantastic Food Hall which always has something a little different on offer.Lancaster is just thirty minutes away, and is a truly historic city with the Castle and Prison especially worth a visit, along with the Museum, Tropical Butterfly House, Dukes Theatre, and summer plays held in Williamson Park. If eating out is your pleasure, there is a wide range of really good restaurants, including ones offering gourmet dinners, and traditional pubs within a few miles; many are suitable for children.
