This particularly cosy cottage is artistically decorated and has a really homely feel. It comfortably sleeps 7; with a double, bunk room and bathroom upstairs. A further bedroom, with a double bed and a single bed, is downstairs accessed via a small staircase from the main room. The beamed, open plan living room has a wood floor and the sofas are positioned around an attractive wood burning stove. Very well equipped kitchen and dining area.
Large rambling garden with swings and hammocks; a large splash pool is available if requested. The patio has a private dining area under a gazebo and a barbeque for guests.
It is an ideal holiday for families and for those who enjoy cycling and walking or just a relaxing taste of French life. The area has many beautiful market towns and the Nantes Brest canal runs just by the village offering walking and cycling routes. It is a 40 minute, easy drive, to the beautiful Morbihan coast with its Islands and variety of shoreline.
Only 10 minutes away there is a wonderful lake with a sandy beach where many water sports are on offer including sailing, canoeing and water skiing - with all the required equipment to hire. Overlooking the lake is an attractive golf course.

The region of Morbihan in Southern Brittany is renown for both its coast line and countryside. The Morbihan coast is only 40 minutes by car from our property and the variety of beaches within easy reach are wonderful. The countryside is equally spectacular with miles of forest. The area is steeped in history with many medieval towns and chateaux. Myths and legends abound: see the magic well of Merlin deep in the local forest. The gite contains plenty of information about all the lovely places we recommend for a visit.
