Come and relax in the rolling hills of rural France and enjoy the great outdoors & stunning views which can be admired from:
- the patio (with its' dining table, sun umbrellas, loungers, hammocks, and barbecue),
- the communal lounge, dining room, kitchen (with its' two french doors onto the patio, giant hearth fireplace, integrated bar, and hug-me sofa)
- the bedroom balcony (with its' spaciousness, wood beamed ceiling, double bed, and treadmill with a view), or
- the fresh air games room (with its' pool table, championship dartboard, nintendo wii, hillbilly bar and giant-screen cinema).
Being surrounded by farmland and sunflower fields makes for wonderful yellow-bathed views with only the sounds of birds and wildlife permeating the tranquility. Hang under a shady tree in the hammock, or one of the sun loungers, and relax.
Enjoy sipping on local French wines on the patio greeted by two sets of french doors from the main living area. A family-sized gas barbecue allows you to enjoy the tastes of home or abroad. The kitchen, dining room and lounge are open plan - all facing the hearth fireplace which covers one of the walls - inviting a warm, communal dining atmosphere.
An airy games room hosts the pool table and cinema - revel in a round of nintendo wii on the big screen! Or if you're travelling with children, cherish some of the water fun on the lawn - including a slip & slide!
This beautiful wooden gite is nestled in a rural hamlet amongst the picturesque rolling hills of the Tarn region in France. We boast a 13 kilometre walk / hike which begins just 40 feet from the front door, as well as many others in the area. The region is famous for cycling, with the Tour de France rolling past us two years in a row - what a sight! Being located near the Agout river provides both adventure and romance with many nearby restaurants taking advantage of the views.
Hand-made by one of the local farmers, Gite Artiste is unique amongst it's neighbours with it's wood-detailed interiors & exteriors. The three bedrooms are spacious and light, sleeping 6 comfortably, with double beds, wood beam ceilings and plenty of books to get lost in. There's a large bathroom with a bath, separate shower & two independent toilets. We provide all linen and towels, so no need to drag them with you!
Open year-round and run by an artist, who finds it both relaxing & inspiring, the decor includes many original oil paintings.
Feel free to contact us for the website address, with more photos and information on both the gite and the region, or to talk over any questions you may have :)
