Wonderful villa in Tossa de Mar.

Just a five minutes walk from the beach, the house is wonderfully set right behind the town church, on the step of the hill, overlooking the bay and the medieval city.

It's gorgeous terrace overlooking the town and the bay makes it a unique spot in the city, and an unforgettable experience for vacation.

The house is part of the Tossa de Mar heritage and landscape, and is well known in the town as the former residence of the famous local violinist Albert Brossa. The peculiar architecture of the house is due to the acoustic desired by the musician, which determined the high vaulted living-room.

The house has 5 bedrooms (all of them doubles and two can hold up to 3 beds, one suite) large high vaulted living room, fully equipped kitchen, 3 bathrooms, and of course the TERRACE and the surrounding garden.

Private garage in the house basement fits up to 4 cars.

The outdoor spaces include not only the 40m2 terrace but also the 80m2 garden surrounding the whole house.

The house includes a semi-basement holding the garage suitable for up to 4 cars, and the main floor. The main floor is set at the garden and terrace level, and includes the hall, 60m2 living room with access to the terrace, 20m2 fully equiped kitchen, 5 rooms (3 of them with double bed, 2 of them with up to 3 single beds), 3 full bathrooms (1 of them in suite).

The Catalunia region

The 25 main tourist attractions

The best way of getting to know a territory, until the point that you are aware of its very essence, is to live in it for a long time, using this period to make constant discoveries. Unfortunately, this privilege is reserved for those who can enjoy what they have around them without having to look at the calendar and who can make their destination into their home for some months or even for some years.

As we have said, these are exceptional cases: most of us have to travel through a country in a few days, always looking at the map and the timetables, and with the constant sensation of having missed the most emblematic places in the area.

This is why we have tried to capture the spirit of the Costa Brava and the Pirineu de Girona through a selection of the places that best summarise the personality of the Girona regions. In these places, visitors can enjoy the chance to get close to the essence of this small country, washed by the sea and protected by the mountains, without having to spend a lifetime here.

This selection of the places that could summarise the identity of our area is materialised in those we consider to be the 25 main attractions of the Girona regions, that bring together various aspects of the territory, from cultural to landscape features, without forgetting gastronomy or social events.

Tossa de Mar

Beaches and nature

Imagine yourself enjoying the silence of nature, discovering parts of Tossa that you never imagined finding here, areas of great natural beauty with the fragance of pine trees, rosemary and thyme.

Imagine the smell of the sea and experience it in one of the most spectacular and emblematic landscapes of the Costa Brava, a succession of cliffs and lookout points surrounded by greens and blues, where beaches and tiny coves play hide and seek with the waves.

What can we do

Tossa is a place of welcome and entertainment. There is a dynamic, sporty, fun-loving, cultural, commercial and nocturnal Tossa; a festive Tossa who celebrates its fiestas and most ancient traditions and organizes concerts, balls, sardana dances, entertainment activities for children, exhibitions, fairs, painting competitions, markets.

What can we visit

Imagine a place where you can travel in time back to a former age. Tossa is like an open-air museum where prehistoric remains overlap with Roman Turissa, medieval Tursa and today's Tossa, one-time retreat for artists and intellectuals and now host town for tourists and visitors.

Where to eat and drink

Imagine good food awakening your senses and enticing your palate with visual and olfactory pleasures. Typical Mediterranean flavours, traditional dishes as cooked by fishermen on board their fishing boats, and the meeting of time-honoured recipes and modern creative gastronomy.
