Who are we?
Two brothers, both educated in England (one in the University of Kent the other in Southampton and then Loughborough University), trying to keep afloat a piece of family heritage and our past. Alentejo is the quiet piece of Portugal. The Alentejo coast, where the villa is located, is fabulous for family holiday as it super is peaceful. The sea during the summer is like a lagoon, were everybody can enjoy even if swimming is not an attribute.

+ info on activities (besides the ones you may do on the resort)
Being on a peninsula isolate you from the stress of the city. SolTróia is best described as a paradise, were the sound of the ocean and the smell of pine trees take over your senses.
Forget queues to go to diner, forget traffic, forget everything and just relax. The beach is never crowded and if you feel the need for more space to yourself the private swimming pool is bound to bring moments of enjoy.
In the area there are a few restaurants, all with exquisite food. There are a few typical Portuguese villages around which I suggest you visit and for this reason is why I suggest you bring a car.
In the resort their is a convenience store. In Tróia (6km) there is a supermarket and some bars, stores and casino. In Alcácer do Sal (24mi) and in Setubal (ferry cross) there are even bigger supermarkets.
Within an hour's drive you may find 6 other golf courses.
Within an hour or so you can get to Lisbon and explore the city.
Surfing? By driving south to Sines you can normally get some really good waves.
