Secluded private luxury holiday cottage in its own grounds near Harlech, within Snowdonia National Park in beautiful North Wales.

Quaint single story cottage, comfortably furnished throughout & superbly equipped, with a cosy homely feel. Located in a picturesque country village between Harlech & Porthmadog, nestled between beach & mountains. The cottage has 3 bedrooms (1 double and 4 single beds plus a high chair for baby) and sleeps 6.

We have a compact dining area but be aware this only sits 4 adults. We do have a beautiful open but completely covered garden room which has seating for 8 persons if the weather permits

It is suitable for families, couples and friends and pets. A superb location for families and couples in a truly breathtaking setting with panoramic views of Snowdonia National Park.

Talsarnau is central for an excellent variety of activities: golf courses, pony trekking, walking and fishing. Snowdonia is less than an hour away and Harlech is only 15 minutes away.

The National Park, which has the evocative Welsh name of Eryri meaning the place of the eagles, is an area of outstanding natural beauty covering 838 square miles and containing some of the most magnificent scenery in Wales.

The Dwyfor Ranch Rabbit farm and Animal Park is situated in the beautiful village of Llanystumdwy between the busy towns of Porthmadog and Pwllheli.on the Lleyn Peninsula, North Wales. For over 30 years the farm has welcomed visitors to interact with a wide range of farm animals including some rare breeds. Under adult supervision, the children are allowed to handle a selection of different types of animals including rabbits, guinea pigs and puppies, as well as hand-feeding many of the larger animals such as pigmy goats, alpacas, rhea, donkeys, ponies, pigs and lambs. You may see a wide variety of newly born animals or be lucky enough to witness a birth!

CHWAREL HÊN, LLANFAIR SLATE CAVERNS - The entry to this old but important slate mine is through the main tunnel, under the twin arches of the crypt, and into the lofty cathedral cavern. Remember that the tunnels and caverns you are about to see are all man made over a 100 years ago with only a candle for lighting.


Situated on the upper outskirts of the village of Talsarnau on a quiet lane to the tranquil Caerffynnon Hall Estate and the foot of a private wood with the ruins of an 11th Century look-out for all for your access whilst roaming. This peaceful coastal village has an Inn, car garage and is within easy driving distance to both the market town of Porthmadog (20 minutes) and the seaside village of Harlech (7 minutes). Steam train rides are available from Porthmadog all the way to the Snowdonia Mountains. The dramatic beauty of this area cannot be overstated, ideal for walking the hills and coast, touring, relaxing on the beaches and swimming in the sea or at the leisure centres.
