5 star trip advisor review: "Amazing attention to detail" Reviewed April 2014
Caroline the owner was friendly from the moment we spoke on the phone. Her attention to detail is first rate. On arrival a very warm welcome greated us along with some well thought out provisions (bread, milk, eggs etc). The main house is arranged over 3 stories and is decorated and furnished to a high standard. The downstairs studio gave us the bonus of another shower room, kitchen and lounge. The main house has three large double bedrooms (1 with 2 doubles) and a twin, a full bathroom with a double shower, a large dining room as well as an open plan kitchen/diner/lounge. The kitchen is very well equipped with all you need for a self catering holiday. Haverfordwest has several major supermarkets and shops within a 20 min walk. Several takeaways and pubs/resturants are also within walking distance. My husband and l travelled with teenagers and grandparents for a week, Pembroke house had lots of room so there was ample space for everyone to spread out. A big bonus was good internet connection so teens were happy. Haverfordwest was a good base for exploring south Wales as Tenby, St David's etc were approx 20 mins away. A big hit with whole family were Heatherton activities Centre (Karting, Shooting etc) and Oakwood theme park (Speed coaster a must). Would recommend Pembroke house. Great Holiday

“Excellent Family Accomodation in Pembrokeshire” Reviewed May 12, 2014
We visited Haverfordwest, Pembrokeshire for a Family Wedding, Myself and my Wife and 3 Children (Ages 12,11,1). The Town House was in a good Location near the centre of Haverfordwest and all its amenities and very close by car to all the Coast. Broad Haven Beach is on 10 minutes away by car. The Town House is exceptional and very clean. It feels like you are at 'Home' as it has everything you need and feels like a 'Home' rather than some sterile holiday let. It has excellent sized bedrooms and can cater for large mixed families. The living room has very comfy leather seats and has a large LCD TV with excellent WIFI. A great Holiday for me is comfort and WIFI Connection (17 Mbps - Excellent as I tested the download rate). The TownHouse had everything you would ever need! and more. The owner has obviously thought this out and made a great holiday experience for all the Guests that Visit.
The Location is excellent for a Holiday in Pembrokeshire and the Townhouse is Perfect!

The West Wales/Pembrokeshire Region:
Haverfordwest is a town which has experienced periods of boom and bust resulting from prosperous trading and wars but through it all has remained a town worthy of visits by royalty & celebrity. Haverfordwest remains the county town of Pembrokeshire, with a Town Mayor, who also holds the title of Admiral of the Port, plus a Town Sheriff-one of only fifteen City & Town Sheriffs in England & Wales. Indeed one of only two in Wales. Haverfordwest is not only a town but a county in its own right. It grew up under the shadow of a Flemish Castle to become Pembrokeshire's administrative centre, encompassing a thriving market town with interesting shops run by local retailers displaying wonderful gifts from our locale alongside other items of interest. The town hosts an award winning farmers market, a wide range of restaurants and cafes, supermarkets, public houses and hotels. Haverfordwest lays claim to the oldest reputed Cricket Club in Wales. There are also Rugby, Football, Bowls, Golf and Tennis clubs.
Visitors to Haverfordwest are never far from award winning beaches with golden sands, pebbles or impressive cliffs and the Pembrokeshire Coastal Path. Many famous Pembrokeshire attractions such as St Govan's Chapel (built into the cliff face) with superb views from Stack Rocks, surfers beach at Freshwater East (which featured in Harry Potter - The Deathly Hallows and Robin hood films), Oakwood Theme Park, Folly Farm, Manor House Wildlife Park, Dinosaur experience and Heatherton World of Adventures are all within easy reach.
Alternatively there are riverside walks in town or in the nearby countryside and for those interested in history there are the historic castle, churches and buildings in town. While monoliths, megaliths, castles, historical buildings and ruins abound in nearby countryside. The majestic St David's Cathedral is less than half an hour away and Haverfordwest also has one the best golf courses in the county.
Not the biggest town in Pembrokeshire, but the most populous, Haverfordwest is the central administrative hub of this region of Wales. Close to the Celtic Trail, and a good central Pembrokeshire base for access north up to the Preseli Hills and west towards St Brides Bay, Haverfordwest has one of the best local history museums in Pembrokeshire plus its own Castle too!
The town centre has an array of shops and a pleasant converted quay (Haverfordwest was once a thriving port at the end of the river estuary). It is a bustling, busy town with plenty of restaurants, accommodation, pubs and cafes but within minutes of some of the finest beaches on the Pembrokeshire coastline.
So ..... come and join us, after all, what could be better than strolling through the countryside, or on the beach, breathing fresh country air while the sun shines?

All beaches can be visited using the Coastal Cruiser buses which can be picked up in Haverfordwest town centre.
Haverfordwest Golf Club is an excellent parkland course adjacent to the Pembrokeshire Coast National Park. It enjoys magnificent views of the Preseli Hills and the historic County Town of Haverfordwest. The Club is very accessible as it is located on the A40, one mile east of Haverfordwest and only 50 minutes west of Swansea. The clubhouse, which was built in 1994, has excellent facilities including a recently refurbished lounge, golfers' bar and a restaurant offering home cooked cuisine in a traditional atmosphere. Continuing development and investment over the years have led to what is now a mature tree lined course which boasts some of the finest parkland greens in Wales. The 18 hole course measures 6002yds par 70 for men and 5260yds par 72 for ladies. Haverfordwest is ideal for visitors, since the course provides a challenge to all handicaps and yet all tees are close to the previous green making for a pleasant walk
