Coastal Lodges is set in 6 acres in an Area of Outstanding Natural Beauty, in a lovely wooded valley near Dartmouth. There are only nine Lodges in the secluded setting, but there is plenty to do with the nearest beach only ten minutes away and the bustling harbour towns of Dartmouth, Salcombe, Kingsbridge and Totnes are a short drive away.
The Lodge has three double bedrooms, one of which is a twin. The master double has an ensuite shower and loo, whilst the other two bedrooms share the family bathroom.
The living space is modern and newly furnished with well equipped kitchen, open dining room and living area which opens up onto a private terrace.
The decor reflects our woodland setting with its proximity to the beach. If you are looking for an outdoor holiday but with the comfort of stylish living space and comfy linen this is the place for you. Children can be as free range as our chickens whilst you enjoy the panoramic view from the fire pit at the top of our meadow. Dogs are also very welcome here and the coastal paths and Dartmoor National Park are a real treat for walkers.
Our nearest beaches are ten minutes drive away at Blackpool Sands and Torcross, whilst the sandy beaches and coves around the coast are 20 minutes away. Surfing at Bantham and sailing at Salcombe are a short drive away. Golf and horse riding only ten minutes away. The Dartmouth Golf and Country Club with its championship course and spa is ten minutes away as is "Woodlands" - with activities for kids on wet weather days.
Our nearest village is three miles away and has a terrific choice of pubs using fantastic local ingredients.

The South Hams is blessed with fantastic coastline and harbours, whilst Dartmoor National Park is a short drive away and we have lovely harbour towns on our doorstep.
Our nearest beach is Blackpool Sands - only 10 minutes away and with easy access for all ages, kayaks can be hired on the beach and there is a cafe. Torcross and Slapton Ley Nature Reserve are also 10 minutes away and dogs can enjoy the beach at Torcross.
All the sandy beaches in coves across to Salcombe and beyond are a short drive away - you could visit a different beach every day of the week.
Walkers have miles of National Trust Coastal paths to explore and the River Dart is fantastic for kayaking, boating and sailing.
Our local pubs - the nearest of which is in Slapton three miles away, use local beef fish, fruit and vegetables to put together their menus and great Restaurants are located in our nearest town, Dartmouth.
Day trips to Paignton Zoo, Plymouth Aquariam or "Woodlands" provide great options for rainy days. In addition we are only 10 minutes from Dartmouth Golf and Country Club where you can swim in the indoor pool or enjoy some Golf. Riding can be arranged nearby too.
Dartmouth boasts wonderful walks up to its castle and provides a base for access to the River Dart where boat trips cnd be enjoyed. Trips up to the National Trust Propery - "Greenways" can be taken from the town. Lovely shopping, pubs and restaurants make it an essential trip whilst staying with us - it only take 10 minutes to get there and it is a great drive along spectacular coast.
Totnes, Kingsbridge and Salcombe also provide great bases for good days out.
