The apartment is within a few minutes' walk from Carrickfergus town centre, and in sight of the historic Carrickfergus Castle and Carrickfergus Harbour area.
Carrickfergus has many take away establishments if you donâ??t want to cook, plenty of variety of restaurants to please most tastes, and a number of pubs for your entertainment. It is only a 25 min train journey to Belfast if you are looking for more lively entertainment.

This is an ideal location for many holiday makers, whether you want to tour Northern Ireland or just relax and enjoy the local hospitality in Carrickfergus and nearby Belfast.
There are many beautiful places to visit.
The main railway station is a 6 minute walk and gives access to Belfast and the rest of Northern Ireland, as well as the republic Of Ireland.
Carrickfergus is on the Causeway coastal route and is the gateway to such places as the Antrim Coast, Giants Causeway, Carrick a Rede rope bridge, Bushmills, Port Rush, Port Stewart, the Northern Ireland set for the hit series Game of Thrones and The North West 200 Triangle is only 50 mins away by road.
County Donegal can be reached on a day trip from Carrickfergus.
Carrickfergus has a wonderful castle. The castle has been restored and has a wonderful visitors' centre and is a joy to stroll round, you could even take a picnic if your lucky with the weather. You may also get lucky and see a bride on her special day. Carrickfergus Castle and harbour is the historical landing place of King William (Billy) of Orange in the late 1600's. Carrickfergus is full of history surrounding this epic historical event.
There are also strong links to the Irish Linen trade to America, with the Greer family, having been located in Carrickfergus.
There is a historical museum located within the town hall which takes you through the history of Carrickfergus.
