From Lucignano, travelling along a picturesque road winding through the hills that form the natural border between the Aretine and Sienese parts of the Valdichiana (Chiana Valley), we find the Villa Bellia.

Located on a hill surrounded by olive trees, the house enjoys captivating views which are truly characteristic of Tuscany including olive groves and natural forest. The house has been recently renovated to offer our guests a welcoming abode, well-appointed in comfort and style but respecting the natural environment.

The villa has been constructed with low-impact environmental solutions such as a ventilated roof space, solar hot water, dual water systems and rainwater tanks, and solar panels. The house produces sufficient electricity to meet all of the house?s needs, including air-conditioning in the summer and heating in the winter.

Villa Bellia is ideal for those who wish to spend a quiet and peaceful holiday in the Tuscan countryside, while also having easy access to the cultural and tourist attractions of the region. Lucignano, which is only 2 kilometres away, is a fascinating mediaeval village which retains its original and unique elliptical plan. Its concentrically aligned streets provide wonderful scenes and superb photo opportunities at each turn. Lucignano's small museum has a rich array of precious and interesting objects. Guests can also visit the 14th century church of San Francesco which has frescoes by Bartolo di Fredi.

Additionally, Lucignano is also located close to major roads and public transport providing easy access to some of the most important art cities in central Italy.

The stunning property consisting of a large open living room with open fireplace, dining room and fully-equipped kitchen. It comes complete with dishwasher, electric oven, microwave oven, coffee maker and toaster. Located adjacent to the kitchen is a portico providing an outdoor charming dining area, perfect for relaxed meals with friends or family. There are two bedrooms, one twin bedroom with en suite, are a bedroom with double bed. This bedroom can be used be the elderly or disabled with a disabled-access shower.

First Floor

The first floor has 4 spacious bedrooms, two twin rooms with bathrooms and a shower. The additional 2 bedrooms have double beds, one with a bathroom with spa bath, and the other with a bathroom and shower.

Lucignano is an ancient village in Southern Tuscany located at the top of a gentle hill in Val di Chiana, on the border between the provinces of Arezzo and Siena. It represents one of the most extraordinary examples of a medieval town with its concentric elliptical ring roads.

As you walk in its maze of streets you have a sense of pleasant games, where every corner is worth a visit and a photo. Going up to the upper area of the country are the Town Hall with its museum full of precious objects, the Church of S . Francesco filled with frescoes by Bartolo di Fredi, the Collegiate Church and the Church of the Society of Mercy with its unique museum.

Lucignano is a favourably location in a dominant position at Mt. 414 meters above sea level, and the Val di Chiana on the road between Siena and Arezzo.
