A modern purpose-built one bedroom apartment with balcony located in the centre of Bristol. Sleeps 4. The apartment is located above Quakers Friars with its exclusive restaurants and shops. The balcony overlooks a private roof garden so the apartment is really quiet even though it is in the city centre. Lift access to all floors.

The apartment is occasionally used by the owner two nights a week but is always available from Thursday evening to Tuesday morning for long weekend breaks (minimum 2 nights) and often for longer periods (see availability calendar). The apartment will be professionally serviced before your stay. It is the ideal base for sightseeing, shopping or visiting your son/daughter at university.

Open plan lounge / kitchen / diner with sofa bed for additional guests (by arrangement). Bedroom has a king size bed with large closet and hotel safe for vauables. Modern bathroom with bath/shower. Other features include 42" flat screen TV/DVD/Sky+, WiFi, dishwasher and washer/dryer.

The balcony has an outdoor table and two chairs for dining al fresco.

Parking is available within the building on request (at extra cost). There is direct access from the car park to to the apartment via the lift.

The England region

Bristol is the largest city in the South West of England and apart from the city's own attractions, it is an excellent base to visit the beautiful Somerset and Gloucester countryside and other famous towns in the locality. These include the historic cities of Bath, Wells and Glastonbury, together with the seaside towns of Weston-Super-Mare and Clevedon.

The beautiful Cotswold countryside and the Forest of Dean is within an hour's drive. Bristol is in easy reach of South Wales via the Severn Bridges. Cardiff is also less than an hour's drive.


Bristol is a lively city with many attractions, and a huge choice of restaurants, bars and excellent shops.

Brunel's SS Great Britain and Clifton Suspension Bridge are well worth a visit. There are numerous museums and galleries, including the Bristol Museum and Art Gallery, At-Bristol and the new M Shed. There is also the Blue Reef Aquarium and Bristol Zoo and Gardens.

During the year, Bristol hosts many festivals (see below).

Bristol has some lovely parks, including the Castle Park directly opposite the apartment, where you can take a leisurely riverside walk down to harbour.

There are many excellent shops in Bristol including the award winning Cabot Circus and the adjacent Quakers Friars with its exclusive range of brands including Harvey Nichols, Apple Store, Ted Baker, Fat Face, Crew and Kurt Geiger (to name a few). Both Cabot Circus and Quakers Friars are less that a one minute walk from the apartment.

A fantastic choice of restaurants are within a five minute walk from the apartment. These include: Carluccios, Brasserie Blanc, Piccolinos, Five Guys, Giraffe, Yo Sushi, La Tasca, Nandos, Zizzis and the restaurant/bar at Harvey Nichols. For snacks and refreshments there is a Costa Coffee, Cafe Nero, Patisserie Valerie, Krispy Kreme and others nearby.

Cinema De Lux is located in Cabot Circus with 13 screens and two exclusive "Directors Hall" complete with reclining leather chairs and order-in-your seat concessions.

A late night Tesco and Sainsbury's are within a few minutes walk if you decide to stay in and eat.

The apartment has excellent transport links - 5 minute taxi ride or 20 minute walk to Temple Meads Station and a 25 minute taxi ride to Bristol Airport.
