Guilla Est is a stone built farmhouse over two hundred years old and was originally a prune farm, the old prune oven is still in the barn.


Spacious fully equipped and modern kitchen/dining room with large central island and stone worktops. Large range cooker with gas hob and double ovens, microwave, toaster, kettle, dishwasher. There is a lounge area within the kitchen as well as a spacious sitting room.

There is additional accommodation in a one bedroomed gite on the same property. The properties are detached and can be booked either individually or together for larger parties.

Guilla Est is ideal for eight people however there is also a double sofa bed. A cot and high chair are also available.

10x5m salt water swimming pool with roman steps. The depth is 1m at the shallow end and 2m at the deep end. The pool is fitted with a safety alarm but is not fenced. A solar heated pool shower and plenty sun loungers are also provided as is a hammock on the terrace.

Several terraces for dining, one by the pool, a covered terrace with BBQ and a courtyard terrace to the rear of the property from which you can watch the sunset. Guilla Est is surrounded by prune orchards and sunflowers. A newly created landscaped garden to the front of the property is filled with wild flowers attracting wildlife. The garden boasts many fruit trees; apricot, peach, apple, pear, fig. There is a games room and table tennis and ipod/iphone docking stations.

Further details

A 20% deposit is payable at the time of booking with the balance due eight weeks before arrival. A security deposit of £200 is taken at the time of the balance payment and will be returned within two weeks after departure.

Friday or Saturday changeover unless agreed otherwise for low or mid season rentals.

Arrival after 4pm and departure by 10am.

All linen and bath towels are provided but please bring towels for pool or outside use

This beautiful unspoilt region of France is ideal for sightseeing, activities or just relaxing and wandering around the vibrant markets. Visit the many chateaux, caves and local restaurants or just relax by the pool.


There are medieval festivals throughout the summer at many of the local towns. Several villages in the surrounding area have night markets where you can sample the local cuisine and wine, these are always a fun night out and a truly French experience. Also throughout the summer are many vide greniers and brocantes.
