The beach is ideal for rock pooling, sandcastles and swimming. Access to the beach is via a footpath over a railway line at the bottom of the garden.Llwyngwiril Village. The village is small enough to feel full of character but big enough to have a shop and pub with a restaurant, a train station and modern children's playground. Llwyngwiril is an unspoilt sea side village. It benefits from being close to some of the busier resorts like Barmouth and Aberdovey, but the village and beach are pretty quiet.

Having said that, there is a pub, shop, play area, bus route and train station within 5-10 minutes walk.
