Pembrokeshire boasts some of the best coast line in the country. The coastal path (180 miles) takes you from Amroth, past Tenby and St Davids and along to St Dogsmaels. Saundersfoot itself has spectacular beaches and twice a year when the tide is right it is possible to walk to Tenby along the sandy shore. Saundersfoot's climate does not always follow the weather forecast and is often better than expected.
Caldey Island is a short boat ride away where you can see grey seals, nesting sea birds, the Monastery and Priory dating back to the 12th century.
Silent World Aquarium in Tenby has fascinating sea creatures, reptiles and amphibians for you to see and hold! Folly Farm has many exotic animals as well as farm animals and is suitable for all ages especially young children. The more adventurous may enjoy Carew Karting at Sageston or Oakwood Theme Park in Narbeth. There are water sport activities around the coast line, with plenty of places to hire wet suits, kayaks or have a ride on a 'doughnut' or 'banana boat'. The St Brides Hotel in Saundersfoot has a gallery displaying local artists work and offers spa facilities with infinity pool and various treatments.
