The England region

The Riviera is located in the centre of Ventnor Bay on the Esplanade. We are in the heart of the excellent restaurants, bars and tea rooms - all within walking distance. Ventnor has the highest rate of sunshine hours in the UK. The Victorians discovered that Ventnor had a micro-climate which due to it's mild air was excellent for your health.

There are a wealth of places to visit including the Botanic gardens, Steephill Cove, Bonchurch, Boniface Downs and Bonchurch Pottery. Famous for its Isle of Wight glass you can visit the studio where it is made. The beaches are sandy and safe. The Riviera is in the heart of excellent places to eat - the variety of food is enormous from tapas to the highest quality in English cuisine. Fresh crab and lobster is caughtin daily at Ventnor and sold freshly on the sea front every morning.
