Damage Deposit: By “Damage”, we mean not only the physical damage to the property, but also damage caused by irresponsible behavior that sullies our reputation as stylish holiday rental agency in the city of Bath. We need you to be considerate of your neighbours and not to make unnecessary noise or play loud music far into the night. Try to make everyone in your party away that they must be respectful and leave the property and its reputation in good condition. YOUR FULL BALANCE will be taken 6 weeks before arrival. We will take this from your credit or debit card also. YOUR DEPOSIT will be refunded within the week of your departure (usually within 72 hours). CANCELLATION: In the unhappy event that you must cancel after you have paid your deposit or your full balance, we will make every effort to rebook the property. Bath is the crowning jewel of the Southwest. It is a gorgeous golden city surrounded by a massive green belt in which reside charming villages, ancient tithe barns, amazing ruins such as Stonehenge, Avebury, Glastonbury and Tinturn Abbey - and all this is with in an hours drive of our lovely city.
Bath is famous for its Georgian Crescents - and you will be staying in one of them! Just down the street from you is the most famous Crescent of all - the Royal Crescent and close by is the famous Circus. Bath is full of heritage sites, but what give's Bath its fame is the Roman Baths - a truly fascinating and historical site.
Once in Bath you can walk to all the sites (Bath is only 1/2 mile across) and you can take small van tours to neighboring sites. You must know that Bath is an astonishingly beautiful and fascinating little city and there is a lot to see here (Roman Baths, Georgian Architecture, Royal Crescent, Museum of Costume, Jane Austen Centre) as well as being a perfect location for exploring nearby sites, such as Stonehenge, Glastonbury, the ancient small cathedral at Wells, as well as being 20 minutes away from the most beautiful village in the Cotswolds - Castle Combe.
You may very well ask, what is an American Museum doing in Bath? Well, it must be remembered that the American Revolutionary period is the Georgian period in England. This museum is in a spectacular manor house with landscaped grounds and gardens overlooking the amazing Limpley Stoke Valley.
The Manor's rooms have been perfectly reconstructed to replicate different periods of American Colonial and revolutionary life. There is also a remarkable collection of American Quilts as well as featured textile and other arts-and- crafts related exhibits. Several events take place there each year celebrating historic points in American History or simply enjoying the American holidays.
