Trevignano is a medieval village in the heart of Lake Bracciano's Natural Regional Park. The lake's unpolluted waters are Rome's main drinking water reservoir. It is located at only 35 km from Rome North, and enjoys a very privileged geographical position at the crossroads between Lazio, Tuscany and Umbria. The area offers plenty to see and plenty to do: the Art Museums and Archaeological Sites of Rome and the Vatican, Medieval Viterbo, Canale Monterano and its Etruscan remains, Prince Odescalchi's Palace, Caprarola and its stunning basilica, are but a few of the places one can discover in and around the area. We are located half way (5 km.) from Trevignano town where all the shops and restaurants are and Anguillara town where there are other shops and restaurants. Trevignano is a very nice small town where you can just enjoy choosing the restaurant you wish from a list of about 32: you can have wonderful pizzas, or fresh sea and lake fish in characteristic restaurants, or meat, or just taste the Italian cuisine in a Michelin restaurant as well as a modern hot dog in a pub, you just have to choose! Supermarkets are quite good, but if you look for something particular we usually try in Anguillara or in bigger supermarkets at approx. 15' by car.

Trevignano Romano is a delightful small town which, together with Bracciano and Anguillara, overlooks the clean and transparent waters of lake Bracciano.Founded on a lavic rock, Trevignano is built on the northern side of the lake in a small bay formed by a secondary crater of an ancient volcano. Because of its position the climate is temperate and the whole area is exposed to the sun all day long.A walk in the old part of town will reveal the ancient ruines of the Rocca Orsini and the Church of the Assumption, built in the 16th century on the ruins of an earlier gothic building. You can also spend some time pleasantly walking around the small mediaeval borgo before relaxing in one of the many bars and restaurants Trevignano offers along the lake. For those of you who like sports, you can take lessons of sailing, windsurfing or canoeing, play tennis or golf, go riding or try paragliding. Moreover, La Cavetta is close to the famous Vallelunga motor-racing track, where you can even have safety driving lessons. At a very close distance from La Cavetta you can enjoy two ancient spa: one is in Viterbo (the medieval city of Popes) and is named "Terme dei Papi", the second one, named "Terme di Stigliano", is located in Canale Monterano, a village with a beautiful archaeological site.
