Purbeck is home to one of the South West England's most unspoiled coastal and rural landscapes and yet is within easy reach of London and Midlands, perfect for year-round holidays and short breaks.
Most of Purbeck lies within an Area of Outstanding Natural Beauty as well as being part of England's only natural World Heritage Site, designated for its outstanding geological interest.
With sandy beaches such as Studland and Swanage and rocky coves such as Lulworth and Kimmeridge, it's a perfect place for the whole family to enjoy the mild climate.
Swanage has many local attractions but if you prefer to explore there are also a number of days out on the doorstep. Travel on the chain ferry to Poole or explore the islands of the harbour stopping off at Brownsea Island the home of the scouting movement or the protected birds at Arne. The seaside town of Bournemouth is only an open topped bus ride away.
