Some fantastic beeches are accessed along the coast between Rye and Hythe. The quaint Cinque Port towns provide an enjoyable day out by the sea and the historic Dock yards at Chatham are great for old and young alike. The world famous cathedral at Canterbury and punting on the river Stour are not to be missed.
Challock provides two pubs, one serving excellent food 7 days a week and a barn shop providing local Kent produce. The towns of Canterbury, Ashford and Faversham are within easy reach by car. Challock is a rural community with horse ridding, walking and cycling in some of Kent's most beautiful countryside including the amazing Kings wood.
