The Istria region

Istria is one of favourite destinations for foreign visitors to Croatia. Bordering Slovenia and with a maritime border with Italy, this peninsula is easy to reach from the rest of Europe and is also well-connected by air to the main airport in the region, Pula Airport.
This is a bilingual region, the official languages are Croatian and Italian. Many people say that istria is a lot like Tuscany, with its soft, green hills and beautiful small towns on top of them... There are dozens of them, each well worth a visit, to mention a few: GroĹžnjan, Motovun, Hum, Momjan... While here, you should visit Arena, famous and well-preserved Roman amphitheater in Pula, then Brijuni islands, Lim Fjord, Baredine cave, Rovinj, pearl of Istrian towns, Hum, the smallest town in the world and so many other things to explore...
Istria offers huge range of various events, sports activities, festivals, concerts, excursions etc, so not a day will pass without an interesting memory for you!
