"Pendrea" occupies a spectacular position on the Cornish coastal path just a 15 minute stroll from the unspoilt and picturesque harbour village of Porthleven and 20 minutes from Loe Pool, Cornwall's largest freshwater lake. Porthleven is very popular with holidaymakers with its clock tower, long sandy beach, quaint inns, a variety of quality restaurants and interesting craft shops.
The raised elevation of the house gives outstanding views over Mounts Bay and towards the Lizard Peninsula and from the top of the tiered garden the stunning sunsets over the sea are an amazing sight.(Care needs to be taken when using the garden steps leading to the patios).
This large welcoming cottage has most of its accommodation on the first floor to take advantage of its wonderful sea views. There is also a games room with table tennis table which both children and adults enjoy.
Pendrea is an family ideal house for up to six people but also adapts well to suit the needs of a couple.

Porthleven is situated on the South West Coast of Cornwall to the North of the Lizard Peninsular. It is close to the bustling market town of Helston and is an ideal location for exploring the surrounding countryside and stunning coastline.
Helston is renowned for Flora Day in May and also has a Folk Museum. Flambards Theme Park is close by and is a great day out for the whole family. Other attractions within reach include. The Eden Project (40 miles), Lost Gardens of Heligan, numerous interesting and beautiful gardens to visit, the Minnack outdoor theatre, St Michaels Mount, Geevor Tin Mine and The Maritime Museum in Falmouth. Other places of interest include; St Ives, Lands End and Kynance Cove.
Porthleven is a working fishing harbour which has retained its unique character and traditional charm. Throughout the year surfers can be seen taking on the challenge of the hazardous reef, whilst in the Winter months the storms are often spectacular and attract storm watchers to the village.
Regular activities take place including an annual food festival , pram race and raft race. The Porthleven Gig team is often seen practising for the local Gig races. Porthleven has a variety of excellent restaurants and local public houses.
