Although so close to the village, the house and garden are very private and tranquil. There is a cosy sitting room and dining facilities for 4 in a well equipped kitchen-dining room. Also garden furniture and barbeque. The 2 bedroom house is best suited to 2 couples or a family with older children. There is a camping cot suitable for babies up to about a year. Outside the village there is lovely countryside suitable for walking and cycling (2 Bikes available at the house). Within half an hours drive are Bastide towns such as Monpazier, Monflanquin, Issigeac, Beaumont and Castillones. There are 2 golf courses quite close and lots of other activities are available ( details from the tourist office in the village which has a very informative website). Market days are Sat. and Wed. and also a farmers market on Mon. evenings. Internet cafe is available at Tourist Office in the square.
On arrival, guests will be welcomed by the owners, Christine & John who live in the adjoining converted barn. They will be available during the holiday to answer any questions and to ensure the smooth running of your stay. The enclosed terrace garden is for the sole use of the guests staying in "Antirose".

A beautiful region of rolling countryside interspersed with historic towns and villages. The climate is very good in the spring and summer and is ideal for outdoor activities such as walking, cycling, golf and more leisurely pursuits such as visiting castles and markets.
Villereal itself has several good shops and restaurants and within easy driving reach are many other towns with Chateaux and gardens to visit. In July the town has a Bodega or festival as do most of the other towns. Each town has it's own scheduled market day. Villereal is Sat. morning, Wed. morning and a farmers market with dining on local produce on Mon. evenings.
