The fully re-furbished 2 Bedroomed Cottage, has accomodation for 4 to 5, with breathtaking views over the Mill Pond and the River Dart beyond.

In the picturesque village of Stoke Gabriel ,with thatched cottages, local Pub's, shops and the Quayside for fishing and crabbing, it is the perfect location for a restful Family Holiday or break with friends.

The village,in an area of Outstanding Natural Beauty is a perfect location for exploring the South Hams with sandy beaches, Cliff top walks, or the busier Torbay English Riviera with plenty to do for the whole Family.

Both are easily accessible from the village,and the famous Naval town of Dartmouth is only a short drive / ferry crossing away, as is the Historic Town of Totnes only 10 minutes distant by car

Bow cottage is extremely comfortable for both a Summer or winter break, with full Central Heating,Bathroom with Bath & Shower, second toilet and Utility room, fully Fitted Dining Kitchen, with Dishwasher, Fridge, seperate Freezer and gas Cooker with table and seating.

Comfortable Lounge with Bow window overlooking the Mill Pond, with large Bed/ Settee , chairs, TV with all Freesat Channels, DVD player, and CD /Radio.

The Master bedroom has a King sized bed, plenty of hanging and drawer storage, with magnificent views overlooking the Mill Pond and River Dart.The second Bedroom has 2 Single beds with wardrobes and overlooks the Cottage Garden.

Bow Cottage is raised with fantastic elevated views of the Mill Pond,Creek, and the River Dart.

It is a paradise for Bird Watchers, Anglers and Sailors.

There is Private Car parking immediately in front of the Cottage,for one car, and further laneside parking

50 metres away. There is a flight of steps leading to the front door.

To the rear is an enclosed sunny Cottage garden, which is raised (3 steps), with modern table and furniture, perfect for lazy breakfasts or an evening glass of wine

We employ a professional Management Company to prepare and maintain the Cottage, and they are available to assist with any issues that may arise relating to the property.

Crisp white cotton linen is supplied ,along with hand and bath towels.

Everything you are likely to need is provided.

The Devon region

South Devon is renowned for it's beautiful countryside, beaches and superb micro-climate.

Torbay, known as The English Riviera, complete with Palm Trees! is close by and has one of the warmest climate's in the country.

There is everything that a visitor could want, from busy Towns and Markets through to wild cliff top walks, Blue Flag Beaches with everything in-between. All within easy driving or public transport distance.


Nestling at the head of Stoke Creek, in a sheltered location , the ancient village offers a host of interest to Holidaymakers.

From the quay by the River Dart, where children can go crabbing, there are gentle strolls to be taken along the riverbank or through the old apple orchard and winding streets of the village where unexpected glimpses abound. There is always something to see and do in this lively community where everyone is made welcome.

The Naval Town of Dartmouth can be reached by Ferry (In Summer), or car, and is a delight with it's picture postcard houses, trendy shop, and superb Restaurants including Michelin starred ones.

The Medieval Town of Totnes ,with it's 'alternative' culture which even includes it's own currency, is 10 minutes away.

National Trust Members are well served, with Greenway, Agatha Christie's residence is close by ,and is a fascinating visit. As is Coleton Fishacre, the home of the D'Oyley Carte family, with superb gardens falling down into the sea.

There is a Sailing Club in the village, where dinghies can be hired, and several Canoe / Kayak operations are available, offering exciting river trips.

Anglers are well catered for with excellent Sea Fishing, and Course Fishing at the local fishery 10 minutes away.

There is plenty to do for children ,with Paignton Zoo, one of the Countries finest minutes away, as is The Model Village at Babbacombe. There are many other attractions including Go Karts, Water Park, Marine Zoo etc...all within easy distance.

The South Devon Steam Railway runs close to the village ,and is a lovely day out, taking you from Torbay to Dartmouth through amazing coastal and country views.
