Fairview is a spacious, well equipped 2 bedroom apartment with superb views overlooking the golf course and is perfect for a luxury self catering holiday and with gas central heating it makes it a very comfortable and cosy holiday destination whatever the time of year.
You do not have to be a golfer to stay at Fairview as it is in an ideal location in the Heart of Norfolk with easy access to Norwich, Cambridge, Newmarket, the Norfolk coast and the Norfolk Broads. It is ideal for walkers and as a base for exploring by car with the many nature reserves close by including Titchwell, Minsmere, Lackford Lakes and Lakenheath Fen (with the Golden Orioles). Norfolk is a wonderful destination at any time of year. It offers miles of unspoilt coastline, internationally known nature reserves and amazing wildlife, hundreds of picturesque villages, historic market towns and delightful coastal resorts.
Watton is within walking distance and is an old market town with an abundance of small independent shops and high street supermarkets (Tesco and Cooperative)> A weekly Wednesday market is held in the High Street where you can buy the locally made 'Wayland Sausage' and 'Wayland Bap', there is also a farmers market held on the first Saturday of every month.
There are banks, a bakers and superb local butcher where various hot roast meat rolls can be bought as well as meat and poultry. There is also Watton Sports Centre with a well equipped gym, squash, tennis and badminton courts. Swimming pools are at Dereham (8 miles) and Thetford (10 miles).
For details of activities and for visitor guides Wayland Tourist Association in Watton High Street is well worth a visit.
