The Conwy County region

Llandudno is "The Queen of Welsh Resorts", a very popular Resort which lies between the Little Orme and the Great Orme. The town is unique in that it has maintained its Victorian and Edwardian elegance and splendour despite its modern attractions. It is packed with great restaurants, bars, cafe's, theatre, museum, art gallery etc and is the premier shopping centre on the North Wales Coast.

* Beaches - 2 lovely blue flag beaches, the North Shore with it's Victorian Promenade and Pier and the quiet,

sandy West Shore, a sand castle paradise with fantastic views of the Snowdonia Mountain range.

* Victorian Great Orme Tramway - This has been delighting visitors since it opened in 1902.

An engineering marvel of its age, it's still the only cable-hauled tramway still operating on British public roads.

* Llandudno Cable Car - At over one mile each way, it's the longest Aerial Cabin Lift in the UK.

* Great Orme Copper Mines - Walk through tunnels and caverns mined out over 3,500 years ago and discover

what is now thought to be the largest Prehistoric mine, so far discovered in the World.

* Great Orme Country Park - Whether your interests lie in history, bird watching and natural history or simply

walking or enjoying spectacular views, the Great Orme has miles of trails to explore with flora and fauna

unique to the Great Orme

* Golf Courses - 2 Golf Courses, a true links course of Championship standard with breath taking views over

the Conwy estuary to Anglesey and the Snowdonia Mountain range.

The medieval walled town of Conwy is only 3 miles away, steeped in history with it's magnificent Castle

built in 1283, today it is one of the best preserved castles in North Wales, A Must See!

The Snowdania Country Park - only approx 30 miles to the base of Yr Wyddfa (Snowdon) in the heart of the country park

Just a few minutes walk from the cottage takes you onto the Little Orme with it's lovely walks and scenery including Angel Bay with it's seal colony.
