A really comfortable 3-bedroomed gite with 3 bathrooms and a big garden of nearly 2 acres with two swimming pools. It is part of a former French farmhouse and has its own private garden with dining terrace and BBQ. The large garden to the rear is ideal for playing football, badminton and croquet. Sole use of the pool area. Pets are most welcome - I have a golden retriever who loves children. The walk to the village is just 15 minutes and you can order your breakfast baguette and croissants from the shop. They also carry a good range of many products including English favourites. A restaurant has newly opened that is open most lunchtimes and evenings at the weekend. A car is essential as the property is rural, but there are several vineyards within a short walk where you could stock up for your holiday.

An abundant wine producing area often referred to as the Tuscany of France where the countryside is covered with vineyards, sunflowers and fruit orchards. The Lot et Garonne is one of the prettiest parts of the south-west of France with rolling hills, magnificent views, châteaux and bastide towns.
Lots of activities locally such as canoeing, horse riding and marked walking trails from the property.
Gourmet food markets almost every night of the week and a super one on Sundays at midday in the local village of Soumensac.
The village of Loubes-Bernac has a village shop that is open every day, a post office and a hairdresser. Most of the daily shopping for bread etc. can be achieved in the village, but the nearest supermarket is 15 minutes in the car, to either Eymet, Duras or Ste Foy la Grande
You don't need to go far to buy your wine - it's virtually on the doorstep
