The Shepherds Hut is situated in the top field of our lovely little farm, in a secluded paddock with views over our mares, foals and lambs - with visits from ducks, chickens or maybe our peacock! Only two "neighbours" a good distance are Linnet and Skylark Yurts which may also be rented independently or together with the Hut.
A cosy romantic peaceful location for those wanting a different holiday, walking, stargazing in the dark skies, near to wonderful beaches in Devon and Dorset, or maybe just sampling the wonderful local food at River Cottage, Hix restaurant or super local pubs!
Two lovely white shower "stables" with loo and washbasin!! - no compost loos in sight!

We are situated on the Dorset / Devon border in an area of outstanding natural beauty very close to the Jurassic coast a world heritage site. A soft climate with lovely dark skies to view the stars at night we often have very warm spring and autumns which really extend the holiday season. We are now an area with excellent cuisine, e.g. River Cottage HQ and Canteen, Hix fish restaurant in Lyme Regis and the Wild Garlic masterchef restuarant. Lots of historic houses and sites to visit. Riding, walking, sailing, swimming and country life a real speciality. Best place to throw away the busy life of the cities etc
