La Pineta is located on the edge of a small friendly village which has a bar (about a 100 metres walk).
The wonderful coastline is about 30 minutes by car - we particularly recommend San Terenzo and Lerici - while the motorway network - 15 minutes away - gives easy access to the whole region and beyond. There is also an excellent railway network - cheap and reliable - with the nearest station 10 minutes drive from the house.
The house has 2 terraces from which to enjoy the outstanding views and the larger terrace is very spacious and ideal for a long leisurely meal. Inside, the house is exceptionally well furnished and equipped and, for those needing to stay in touch with home, there is satellite TV in 3 rooms and wifi access.
The house would be perfect for 2 families or for one larger group wanting more space.

Lunigiana is the undiscovered northernmost tip of Tuscany and lies between the coastal province of Liguria to the west and the Apennine mountains to the north-east. To the south -east the region is dominated by the peaks of the Parco Alpi Apuane beyond which are the Renaisance Cities of Florence, Pisa and Lucca.
With mediaeval hill towns and stunning views at every turn, Lunigiana is a paradise for walkers, painters, photographers and for those who simply enjoy the good things in life.
Casola is a small hill village with wonderful views over the valleys towards the coast. It has small shops, a cafe/bar, bank (with ATM), post office and petrol pumps. Just above Casola is the railway station at Pieve San Lorenzo.
Just a few minutes from La Pineta at Reusa is the nearest restaurant called Spinos which we thoroughly recommend for a real taste of local italian life - very friendly and amazing value.
