Moranedd is located on the lane that runs to the beach. The house has breathtaking views of the countryside and sea. Moranedd holds plenty of charm and character in its spacious rooms. An Inglenook fireplace takes centre stage in the breakfast room/kitchen. The kitchen is fully equipped with large fridge, freezer, microwave, toaster and kettle.
The dining room is how you should imaging dining in a country house should be. An array of chairs surround a huge wooden dining table, large sash windows look out to seas and across the waters you can seee Holyhead mountain in the distance.
The reception room with a cosy log burner, again with sea views and a private reading room.
A sun room sits at the front of the property. In 2012 a new, very grand sunroom was added, with a large seating area, high ceiling and oak floor. The view stretches across the lawns, fields and out to sea, bringing the beautiful Anglesey country and sea views straight into the house. What a wonderful place to watch the sunsets!
The hall is bright and spacious. A large twin room is located downstairs, with French doors, opening onto pretty lawns. This room is ideal for family members who like a little privacy or those who would rather not use the stairs. A large family bathroom is also downstairs with full bath, separate shower, w.c and basin.
Upstairs you will find four large bedrooms and a family shower room. Moranedd is 100 years old, lending itself to large rooms, with sash windows.
This country house has been recently refurbished, whilst still retaining its country house character features, it has oak flooring, beautiful furnishings, some new and some old.
The outside space is enclosed by blackberry bushes and country flowers. There is a small pond at the bottom of the property, trees housing old family dens and play spots. The house has a BBQ, a sheltered patio area, which also acts as a sun trap and ample parking for cars, boats, kayaks and sea sport equipment.
The house is child and baby friendly. We offer cots, toys, high chairs and travel stair gate. An off-road baby buggy and baby carrier are also available on request. Babysitting service is also available and guests also receive a discount at the renowned Lobster Pot Restaurant in Church Bay.
NEW to Moranedd 2014 is its very own meadow!! At the bottom of the garden, facing the sea, guests are now able to roam and play in Moranedds meadow. A great space for the kids to run and enjoy. Moranedd offers spacious living inside and out, making for an idyllic large family holiday country holiday your family are sure to enjoy!
