The Central Florida region

It has often been said that the true essence of Disney magic can be experienced simply by stepping foot inside the Magic Kingdom. Opened in 1971, the venerable theme park has withstood more than three decades of changing cultures, a constantly shifting social climate, and an explosion of technology that has left lesser places outdated and obsolete. Yet, somehow, the Magic Kingdom continues to remain the undisputed king of theme parks, drawing more yearly visitors than any other.

Aside from the most-popular Magic Kingdom, Disney World is also made up of the following parks:

- Epcot - Blizzard Beach

- Animal Kingdom - Typhoon Lagoon

- Disney's Hollywood Studios

Sea World Orlando is a theme park built around various marine mammals, fish and birds. Home to Shamu, people have traveled from all over the globe to see the famous killer whale. Aside from the many shows and attractions, Sea World also has several roller coasters and other rides. The roller coaster, Manta, was designed to give riders a chance to experience how a Manta Ray moves. Riders are positioned horizontally as they are "flown" through the air, around loops, and sudden drops. When visiting Orlando, Sea World is a park that the whole family will love!

Universal Studios Florida was opened in 1990 as the first theme park to give the visitors a movie-like experience. This park consists of six themed areas, and have movie based rides such as "The Simpsons Ride", "Jaws", and "Men In Black". They also have shows based on movies such as "Beetle Juice".

Universal Studios: Islands of Adventure is the newest addition to the Universal parks. There are 3 different themed islands filled with rides and attractions for all ages! The newest "island" is the "Wizardry World of Harry Potter" which has been a hit among Harry Potter fans and non-fans alike.
