If you love walking you will adore this area of Wales with its stunning mix of mountain and coastal scenery. Cader Idris is right on your door step. Other beautiful walks close by include up to the 'Blue Pool' as featured on the 'Secret Britain' Series. Also the 'Precipice Walk' with amazing views across the Mawddach Estuary and the coastline and the 'Torrent Walk', following the river Clywedog through its striking gorge.
Llwyngwril is a pretty village resting on the shores of Cardigan Bay in the stunning Snowdonia National Park with easy access to Cader Idris. The local beach has wonderful views across to Snowdon.
The village offers a well stocked local store and a welcoming village pub that serves good pub grub.The popular seaside town of Tywyn, which is approximately ten miles away, boasts its own leisure centre and swimming pool complex plus all the usual facilities including a cinema.
For golfing, boating and all water sport enthusiasts the delightful harbour village of Aberdovey is just fourteen miles away. Here you will also find one of the finest golden sandy beaches in Wales.
