There is also a large beautifully maintained shared garden which has a private pathway which leads on to the main coastal path which can take you down to the beach in a few minutes or in the other direction to St Ives town.There is also a bike store for storing your bicycles or surf boards if needed. The area provides the best surfing in England, with towns like Newquay, Bude and Croyde filling with enthusiasts every year. There is excellent walking on Bodmin Moor, domain of the legendary beast, and the coastline is wild and beautiful.
Carbis Bay is less than 2 miles away from the historic town of St Ives. Re-nowed for it's cosmopolitan mix of restaurants, cafes, pubs, and art galleries. Not to mention it's lovely cobbled streets filled with a wide variety of shops and boutiques. There is always lots to do and see. So if you are simply looking for a relaxing week on one of the many wonderful beaches or an energetic mix of surfing, walking, playing golf or diving there is plenty for you to choose from.
