The Scotland region

Located midway between Princes Street and Edinburgh city central attractions i.e. castle, museums, theatres and concert halls and the vibrant, shore area of Leith, with award winning Michelin starred restaurants and dockland eateries and bars, this peaceful house and garden offer a relaxing break away from the hussle and bussle of city life. Edinburgh is famous for The International Festival, The Fringe Festival, The Jazz Festival, The Film Festival as well as colourful multicultural festivals, such as The Mela which happens on the doorstep.

Central Scotland/Strathclyde

Leith is in Edinburgh dockland and riviera, the beach of Portobello, is only 3 miles away and beautiful coastal walks at Musselburgh and East Lothian around 5 miles away. As well as Edinburgh Castle, there are many stunning castles in the area, such as Craigmillar Castle, Hailes Castle and my personal favourite, Tantallon Castle, 25 miles away. Edinburgh makes an excellent base for touring the wonders of the Scottish Highlands and Abbeys of the Borders, and with free allocated parking for 2 cars, you and your friends can motor from the coasts to the mountains assured of ease of parking; right at the door, on your return.
