Stay in a vintage bus at a surf and yoga beach house in Biscarrosse-plage, just 200 km from the beach. This bus is retired from road rentals and is stationary and not for driving. Virginia has become a guest bedroom annexed to our family home. Our friends and family love staying in her so much so that this year we have opened her up to you to stay in over the summer holiday. Your stay will contribute to getting Virginia back on the road in 2016! Our unique camper bedroom, Virginia, is a 1965 original Kombi and she is happily resting underneath the fig tree in the garden of the beach house. Enjoy the good bits of a relaxed camper holiday without the hassle of insurance, petrol, parking and camping costs. You have the use of a toilet, wash basin and shower right next to the van, mains electricity and cooking facilities. You have the best of both worlds by staying at the house you can use the bbq, wifi access, sunny terraced garden and feel secure in a private family home, and so close to the beach. You will enjoy your private space and have access to come and go as you please. The owners are on site if you need any advice. Join in one of the owners daily yoga classes in the on site house studio.

The Aquitaine region

'The capital of the good life'... Aquitaine, the Atlantic region in South West France is one of the best kept secret holiday destinations of the French people and those in the know internationally. Why? Miles of sandy white beaches, hot sunny weather, a pilgrimage destination for foodies (Gastronomes) and wine lovers (Oenophiles), lower prices and avoiding the crowds, traffic and expense of the Mediterranean and Paris may be a start.

Enjoy, the city of Bordeaux, the Cote D'Argent, Europe's 's longest expanse of white sandy beach featuring Europe's highest dune, 'Dune du Pyla' near Arcachon, fashion shopping or stopping off for a snack in the oyster capital of France, Cap Ferret and the Bassin d'Arcachon.

Known simply as Bisca, our base in Biscarrosse is on the Côte d'Argent or the Silver Coast. Biscarrosse plage is a top holiday destination in it's own right with its big lakes, beautiful beach, forest, cycle paths, nearby dune du Pyla, nightly market and fresh food market daily during summer.

We are situated at the edge of the shops and restaurants just opposite the school. We are 200m from the beach access at the south beach parking and 300m from a peaceful pine forest. Biscarrosse is a surf beach and is on a stunning coastline of golden sands and dunes that stretches 200km know as the Cote d'Argent.

Sunsets are amazing here and there is no better place than sitting on the dune watching the sun go down.

There is a fresh food market daily each morning and also a night market of crafts and art during summer.
