Included in rate is unlimited access to our large and beautiful private pool at our villa Marianna, 7 miles along a quiet country road with sensational views.
Spoleto historic centre, LUXURY, 2 mins stroll from Piazza Mercato and Piazza Liberta. With WiFi, in excellent and quiet location.
A car is unnecessary because you are just 20 mins easy walk, on the flat, along a tree lined boulevard, lined with cafes, bars, restaurants and shops, to the train station, from where you can get to practically anywhere in Italy. Or, you can catch a bus.
There is 1 triple bedroom + 1 double bedroom. However, the apartment is SO spacious that 2 extra single beds can be easily placed in the large sitting room.
This sensationally beautiful, highly stylish and quiet apartment is competitively priced because there are about 40 steps and no elevator. In these mediaeval palazzos, it is very rare to find an elevator. However, having reached the apartment, you are richly rewarded with an aesthetic feast for the eyes. Stuffed with objet d'arts - a mixture of contemporary and traditional, squashy sofas, a state of the art, separate kitchen, with dish-washer, of course, a separate dining room that opens onto the balcony, leading to the terrace - seats 6, a lavishly furnished master bedroom, a twin bedroom (beds can be joined).
Both bathrooms are fabulous, one of which has a Jacuzzi tub and a double hydro-massage shower !
Stepping out of the door, you are in the heart of aristocratic Spoleto, surrounded by shops, bars and restaurants.
Further, about 2 mins walk away, there is a travellator that consists of a network of moving walkways, escalators and elevators that takes you to every different part of the city.
Parking takes place in an underground car park, 5 mins walk away or via a moving walkway. It is 8 euros/day. Or, you can hire a private car space in our car park, 10 mins away, via the travellator, 2 mins away, for 50 euros/week. Please note that we help with the luggage etc on the day of your arrival and departure.
The gym referred to is State of the Art. It is called “Unique”, it is 1.5 miles and it accepts day memberships. Here there are weight rooms, many classes, a large pool and a huge sauna.

The Umbria region
Umbria is famous for its mountainous terrain, which changes at every twist and turn, from cultivated landscape to wild and woolly crags, from undulating, lush green valleys to stark cliff faces with sheer drops into the depths below. Food and wine heaven because here is where you find world famous wines (at great rates), truffle and food from all over Italy, Umbria having attracted Italians from all over, Spoleto being a favourite place for Italians to migrate to.
You do not need a car in Spoleto. At Terrazza Mercato, you are just 20 mins walk from the train station, from where you can get to practically anywhere in Italy. For instance, it takes 5 hours to reach Venice and 3.30 hours to reach Pompeii and Naples. The area is packed with things to see and do, from museums, art galleries, churches and ancient monuments, including the Roman Forum, to shops, bars and restaurants, all embraced by the mediaeval walls of this tiny city, threaded with arched and cobbled lanes and crowned by the famous Rocca at the top, next to the gigantic Roman aqueduct that takes you directly into the Sacred Mountains.
