"An alumnus of the prestigious Leiths School of Food and Wine in London, England, chef Sam combines his classical training with techniques and styles honed in some of London's best restaurants, and behind the scenes on primetime cookery shows, to ensure every meal during your stay will be just as memorable as your hours on the slopes. Time spent in the kitchens of Michelin-starred restaurants such as Notting Hill's The Ledbury helped develop his intricate presentation skills and instilled in Sam a passion for the finest quality fresh ingredients. His media credits include the last four BBC Nigel Slater series, and Great British Menu 2014, where he acted as sous chef to rising stars of the British restaurant scene, including Tom Sellers of Restaurant Story, London, and James Durrant, Chef Patron of The Plough Inn, Longparish. When he isn't treating our guests to delicious, bespoke menus or helping top chefs create innovative dishes for screen, Sam runs a culinary school specialising in training chalet chefs and hosts. His fervour for the mountains and alpine cookery is matched by his dedication to ensuring your specific dietary requirements are fully satisfied. Please do let Sam know well in advance of any preferences or nutritional needs. He will be very happy to adapt any menus to cater to your individual tastes."
