The climate is good most of the year. July and August are hot. May, June and September dry and warm.
The breezes are great for water sports and sailing.

Turkey in general is affordable and welcoming.

Market day is Saturday where the local vegetables and fruits have flavours we have almost forgotten. Fresh fish, fresh air and a slower pace of life.

The area also offers simple restaurants for under a fiver and smart restaurants offering value and style.
