Ilios Akti is a family owned villa facing the beach on Chrysochous Bay between Polis and Latchi. It is a truly beach front bungalow. One is able to open the garden gate straight onto the sand (no shoes required!). From the raised deck at the edge of the garden, one will be able to watch the water breaking on the beach and, if lucky during June to October perhaps observe (at night) a wild sea turtle laying its eggs or hatchlings making their way to the water! It is quiet and romantic. There one can enjoy the fantastic sunsets and spends extraordinary nights under the stars.

Paphos ( Petra tou Romiou area) is the mythical birthplace of Aphrodite, the Greek goddess of love and beauty and the founding myth is interwoven with the goddess at every level, so that Paphos became the most famous and important place for worshipping Aphrodite in the ancient world. In Greco-Roman times Paphos was the island's capital, and it is famous for the remains of the Roman governor's palace, where extensive, fine mosaics are a major tourist attraction. The apostle Paul of Tarsus visited the town during the 1st century AD. The town of Paphos is included in the official UNESCO list of cultural and natural treasures of the world's heritage.
Paphos enjoys a Subtropical-Mediterranean climate, with the mildest temperatures on the island. The typical summer's season lasts about 8 months, from April to November, although also in March and December sometimes there are temperature above 20 °C (68.0 °F).
