Main lounge encompasses a TV area with TV, DVD player, freeview and selection of DVD's and dining area

2nd & 3rd reception rooms are ideal for reading or playing games, a selection of books and boardgames are supplied.

Both lounge rooms have log fires, ideal for the winter months.

The Kitchen is a generous size and is fully equipped.

Family bathroom includes bath and separate shower cubicle, two of the bedrooms have hand basins. All bedrooms have wardrobe space.

The County Londonderry region

Amara is located just off the main A2 road between the City of Derry and Coleraine and the Causeway Coastal Route -one of the most scenic drives in the world. This is the gateway to Ireland's northwest region, which means that local attractions and places of interest are easily accessible for day trips.

Derry city is the only completely Walled City in the British Isles dating back to the 17th century. It has recently won the coveted title of UK City of Culture for 2013.

Amara has panoramic views of the Lough Foyle, the hills of Donegal and local countryside. Although it has a rural setting there is a great sea view and the local city of Derry and town of Limavady are easily accessible for shopping, eating out, theatre, festivals, parks, museums etc.

Local to Amara Farmhouse there are a number of activities to avail of such as golf, fishing, horseriding, hoovercrafting, gliding, surfing, paintballing, hiking.

The world famous World Heritage site and National Nature Reserve of Giant’s Causeway, the Bushmills Distillery - the world's oldest licensed whiskey distillery and Carrick-a-Rede rope bridge - are 50 minutes away. Donegal and the Inishowen Peninsula are close by and can be easily accessed by ferry.

There are number of major cultural events and festivals throughout the year, such as, the City of Derry Jazz & Big Band festival, the Danny Boy festival, the Banks of the Foyle Halloween Carnival, North West 200, St Patricks Day parades and festivals, Film & Comedy festivals.
