It is located within a quiet neighbourhood and within walking distance of Wadebridge town centre. You can enjoy a relaxed breakfast in the south facing garden. Later, perhaps explore Wadebridge on foot or take a cycle ride along the famous Camel trail towards Padstow or Bodmin. Or why not cycle towards the Camel Vineyard for a glass of Award winning fizz?On the ground floor, the hallway leads to a lounge, kitchen/diner, dining room, bathroom and bedroom. There is a large lounge with views across wadebridge. Wi-fi, a colour flatscreen TV, DVD, and radio are all provided The kitchen/diner is very well equipped including a fridge/freezer, gas hob, cooker, dishwasher, kettle and toaster. There are french doors which open onto a lawned garden with great views of the town. The back door provides access through a small utility room with washing machine, tumble dryer and microwave to rear garden (an outdoor clothesline is provided).A separate spacious dining room has seating for 6 people.There is a double room with views of the garden and a bathroom with shower, bath etc.Upstairs the master bedroom has a kingsize bed and sofa again offering fantastic views of Wadebridge, the River Camel and the loacl countryside.A family bathroom has a separate shower cubicle and bath.The third bedroom can sleep two people with two single beds.All bedlinen and towels are included. There is gas central heating and parking for 4 cars.Outside the south facing garden surrounds the house. The back garden is secured by two gates and offers a safe area for children to play. There is a childrens playhouse with slide. There is a patio and garden furniture. The front garden is laid to lawn and offers enough space for a game of boules or croquet whislt soaking up the evening sunshine!Hillaine is in a fantastic location. Within a 5 minute walk you can access the town centre, River Camel ,cricket pitch, excellent chidren's playgrounds, skate park and tennis courts. Within 10 minutes you can reach the Camel Trail; a disused railway which provides up to 17 miles of wonderful level cycling or walking. Cycles can be hired locally or you could bring your own and store them safely in the enclosed garden. The most popular is the scenic 6 miles down stream from Wadebridge to Padstow as the estuary snakes it way towards the sea. There is also ample fishing in the area.WADEBRIDGE & NORTH CORNWALL AREAWadebridge is an historic market town which was a busy river port in times gone by. There is a good variety of shops including a Supermarket within a quarter of a mile, a selection of pubs, restaurants and cafes. The Ship Inn and Bridge Bistro are within a 5 minute walk and offer fantastic food and drinks. There is a leisure centre including a swimming pool and a cinema all within I mile. The latter has the latest films but old fashioned comfy seats!Hillaine is a great location for a fantastic family holiday exploring the beautiful North coast with the lovely sandy beach at Rock, the magnificent surfing beach at Polzeath and Daymer and the delights of Padstow or rugged Bodmin moor within 6 miles. Within a 10 mile radius you can access some of Cornwalls finest golf clubs including St Enodoc Golf Club in Rock and Trevose Golf Club near Constantine Bay. There is an excellent Sea Life Centre in Newquay and the Extreme Academy at Watergate Bay offers adrenalin sports such as kite surfing. Culinary experiences abound in the area including the renowned Jamie Oliver 15 Restaurant at Watergate bay. Or perhaps enjoy Fish and Chips or a meal at one of Rick Steins famous eateries in Padstow or the Michelin- starred Ripley's in nearby St Merryn. Tintagel with its legends of King Arthur is an easy morning trip, as well as the lovely old harbour at Boscastle. Also, the beautiful house and gardens to explore at Llanhydrock are not to be missed. Cornwall's Crealy Adventure Park is a a 20 minute journey providing a great day out for all the family.The West Country regionThe South coast is only 30 minutes drive away. The fantastic Eden project is a short car journey and has something for everyone. Garden lovers will want to spend a day at the famous Lost Gardens of Heligan. The city of Truro with its lovely Cathedral and most High Street shops is also well worth a visit. The town of St Ives is bustling with shopping, art and restuarants and the beaches are amazing! The variety of things to do and see means that it is suitable for all generations and will mean that one week will not be enough; you will want to book a second week or return again!
