For lovers of culture there are many museums, galleries and theatres to be visited and during the month of August the city welcomes visitors from all over the world for the Edinburgh Festival and associated Fringe Festival.

Kids will love the outstanding Edinburgh Zoo, Edinburgh Castle, the Wax Museum or perhaps a ghost tour round the cobbled streets and closes of the historic old town. Guests can easily explore Edinburgh on foot, from the medieval old town with its many historic buildings of interest, to the New Town.
