The Lemon house is a property with two identical houses adjacent to each other. It is located on the East Coast of Zanzibar; Jozani Forest home to the rare red Colubus Monkeys is within a short distance of the house. Quiet and peaceful, but surrounded by holiday resorts that have restaurants and bars for those that fancy eating out. Small convenient stores are available at the local village approx 1 km south.
The house is privileged to have a beach right at it's doorstep; the top floor landings have balconies with stunning sea views, the sunset is spectacular to watch from here and the moon as it rises is magnificent . The master bedrooms have two double beds, the second bedrooms have one four foot beds in each.
The location provides opportunities for fishing, snorkelling, diving and other water sports. Arrangements can be made for car, bicycle or motor cycle hire; and with developments in terms of transportation it is now very easy to take a trip into Stone town should you wish. Other common attractions on the Island are spice tours, Prison Island, butterfly centre and the opportunity to swim with dolphins in Kisimkaze on the south coast.

The word Zanzibar evokes many exotic and erotic images, it's also known as the 'Spice Island'; it's beaches and climate are idyllic. Zanzibar has an amazing history therefore a visit to the Museum in stonetown is worthwhile, car hire could be arranged but would need to be paid for locally.
About two kms north of the house is what's known as a 'lagoon' where there is magnificent snorkelling opportunity but it's advisable to wear shoes or fins due to sea urchins and stone fish.
