Little Vintners is a very well appointed ground floor flat set on a picturesque cobbled street in the heart of Petworth, West Sussex. Having been renovated by the current owners, Little Vintners offers modern, cosy and comfortable accomodation with its location making it the ideal spot from which to expore the beautiful Sussex countryside and its many attractions. The large sash windows of the living room overlook the imposing St Mary's Church and the cobbled street that was once the bustling shopping street of Petworth in years gone by.

There is a flat screen TV and internet access in the living room, as well as a dining table that seats 4 people. There is a modern fitted kitchen which includes a double oven, ceramic hob and microwave. The cosy double bedroom has plenty of hanging space for clothes and there is a telephone that accepts incoming calls. The bathroom has a shower over the bath. The property is ideal for short breaks, but will also accept longer term stays.

There is parking available in the nearby Pound Street public car park.

'Pay and Display' parking is available close to Little Vintners. There is also a public car park in Pound Street, about 250 meters to the south of Little Vintners.

Where short breaks are permitted the following tariffs apply:

3 nights: 75% of the weekly rent.

4 nights: 80% of the weekly rent.

5 nights: 85% of the weekly rent.

6 nights: 90% of the weekly rent.

In order to make a reservation more than 60 days in advance, a reservation fee of 30% of the rental value will be required, the balance then being due 60 days before the holiday starts, along with the booking fee of £35.00 and the refundable security deposit of £150.00. Payment can be made by debit card or credit card, or bank transfer. There is a 3% surcharge for credit card payments.

The South of England enjoys some of the best weather in the country, and this is complimented with stunning countryside scenery and beautiful beaches. Visitors to the area can experience the history of England from Roman villas, ancient market towns and the historic dockyard at Portsmouth, or enjoy the rolling hills of the South Downs and the sandy beaches, such as West Wittering.


The ancient town of Petworth dates back to medieval times, with the Market Square known to have been a market place since at least 1541. The age and history of the town is evident everywhere you look and this is reflected in the selection of quality antique shops around the town. These are complimented by many interesting shops, cafes and restaurants.

Possibly Petworth's most famous attraction is the Nation Trust Petworth House. Set within a 700 acre park, this 17th century mansion housing an impressive collection of works by artisits including Van Dych, Turner and Reynolds. Beyond Petworth, the surrounding area offers a wealth beautiful walks in and around the South Downs National Park.

Goodwood lies just a few miles to the south and attracts visitors from all over the world to its famous motor sports and horse racing events. Chichester lies about 14 miles south of Petworth and has a world famous cathedral which dominates the city skyline. It also has the renowned Festival Theatre where some of the world's most famous actors perform.

The south coast, with many picturesque beaches including West Wittering's sandy dunes, is also within easy reach.
